Nonok crossed his arms as he watched his sis sister Dayza pace the floor. She was grumbling to herself. Each step she took echoed eerily on the bare cobblestone flooring. In the quiet of such a large room, it seemed so loud. Nonok sighed softly, but even that sounded noisy. "Dayza just admit we are lost," he said at length when her pacing became more frantic. She snapped at him, "We are NOT lost!" "We have been in these ruins for hours, with no sign of the exit . . .what do YOU call it when you cannot find your way back?" The feast of a night, Clouds ringing of fear, Teeth long and pointy, Eyes lingering a leer. At a dark, haunted time, This beast comes alight, Slowly to your bedroom, It scares you with fright. Nowhere to run, At this tainted time, A vampires life you shall lead, As you can tell by this rhyme. And "So long", you shall say, To your previous light, A vampire you shall be, A vampire of night.
