She sits in deep thought before getting ready for her next performance. Small glimpses into her life are found around her dressing room: clockwise, starting top left
on one of her walls, photos of family and momentos from her travels
Her desktop holds photos of other actors and actresses she's met and worked with, as well as postcards from a couple, a picture of one of her favourite places {waiting to be framed}, the key to her dressing room, and the plans to a famous theater house that she some day hopes to visit and maybe even appear on it's stage
on one of her tables: well loved books, jewelry boxes, and a wash bowl and pitcher
one of the corners of the room: full of luggage, discarded clothing, a couple books to take with her on her next trip, and a lovely Egyptian statue that she got from her last trip
on another tabletop: a glass of wine waiting to be finished and lovely bottled perfumes from gentlemen admirers
She asked for something theater related; dating late 1800s or early 1900s. An actress performing or waiting or just finished performing or such. It was going to be all one big scene, but then came up with the idea to do the little "snapshots". A couple things may not be totally accurate for the time period...but I wasn't going for 100% accurate, I was going for a concept here.....
