Literature Text

When winter nights
freeze my heart,
I listen to the sound
of dripping water
from my throne,
As blood pours from my womb
my mind grows numb.

Metal birds scream overhead,
mocking the moon in the sky;
the solstice soon upon us
brings night eternal;
Vain flames wish to warm me
but I am too far from the fire.

The throbbing of my head
reminds me of how
tomorrow is just like yesterday,
when winter nips at my heart and mind
and my womb is now bloodless and barren.
Spiritual :giggle: if you know where the inspiration came from to write this, you'd understand why I giggle at the catergory I've placed this in....

also, be forewarned, do not ask where inspiration came from.....unless you are a near dA friend, brave, and don't mind the exceedingly odd quirks of people :rofl: inspiration hits at the stranges moments! :rofl: yeah....:giggle: sorry...:giggle: ok, my moment of insanity is over. This was written last night-this morning around 2:30 am.... so, :beer: cheers to my insanity!!!!
