Deep Blue Whispers by *Poetic-Dragon:iconPoetic-Dragon:

The deep blue whispers

A great goddess
With many secrets

Love her
Hate her
She will claim you
Mind
Body
Soul

The sea calls to you
Whispers of forever
Kisses of promise

You will become
another secret
locked in
the deep blue

Another funness for *virgo-e and her lovely artwork! ^-^

The picture belongs to *virgo-e. It is the piece that I got inspiration from for writing the poem for her. If you read this poem and like it and even :+fav: it, please, go here [link] to her original picture to comment and give her some love too! So, to repeat, THE PICTURE is hers and full copyright remains with her! The poem however is mine and copyrighted to me.

Neither actually, but rather a sea goddess. I've been watching a bit too much of Pirates 3 and so have sea goddess on the brain and the lady in the photo seemed like a goddess to me, so it was only natural from there. She isn't Calypso, but some other sea goddess. I looked up a few on Wiki and she is most likely the Norse goddess Rán [link]

 Greco-Roman mythology was my first passion, and then Egyptain and Norse. A couple yrs ago, I started to read up on Hindu-Buddhist and Japanese mythos and a tiny bit of Native American and other cultures. I love it all. It is all so very lovely and awesome.
