Ok, so after reading =colt51's latest journal [link] [please go read it] I have decided to do what I can to help him and his son out.. I don't have much money. And at moment, we are between pay-days, so, really, we have no money for a week. But here's the deal, commission me. And half of the money I get from commissions between now and my birthday, July 7th, will go to them. I would love to help more, but I have two children to take care of. But yeah, I would like nothing more than to help this wonderful gentleman and his son out, for my birthday. That's almost two months from now. My commissions run from as cheap as $5,on up. I have paypal; I can take checks and money orders [from w/in US only, sorry] if need be. Please go below to the commissions area to find out what I do and what I charge. Also, I've done alot of jewelry past few days and some is for sale. I will post all of it Sunday after I get pictures of it all. I will also update my "Jewelry for Sale" journal at that time. So, been writing lots! Chapter 8 of ASC is done. I didn't whore it up, but you get the idea. I was carefully selective and creative about the words I choose, so it's dA appropriate. When it's finally up, I will clearly mark the small area where the steamier bit is so the more shy of you can skip that area. I've also been working on a story I started when I was pregnant; it's for my hubby and me sorta. I take us and a bit of our personal story, and then change some stuff to fit the fantasy world I put us in; he's a were-hybrid and I'm a vampire, it's set in the same world as my A New Darkness story. I have a small to-do list of a few stories I need to write folks as prizes. I will get to those, no worries, just give me time.
On another note, jewelry! I have tons to photograph and measure and post. I have some WIP to finish. And I have lots of ideas sorted into little baggies, waiting for me to attack them. I have a cold and for some reason, even though I wake shitty in the morning, come evening, I have been feeling inspired and today, I made 5 ribbon chokers. Couple need finishing touches, but I whipped them up as fast as Xavier let me while he sat in my lap wigging, grabbing at the ribbon ends. LOL He's a stinker. No, really, he is! He's in my lap now and he just got done pushing and things really stink now...I'm scared to see if he left a surprise or just farted *_* Eeewww...

One last note, a person who is very special to me is in the army and this last weekend, he and the guys he's with justed headed to Iraq. He said they'd be by an Air Force Base in the south of Iraq, far from the action. I am happy of that, but still wish he wasn't there period. Once he gets there, he is supposed to let me know and send me his address. If you wish to "adopt" a soldier, or just send stuff to the boys, let me know and when he gets there, I tell him. Maybe he can give me names of some guys who need some love and such while over there. Even if you don't agree with the whole Iraq thing, you can still brighten the day of a kid serving far from home and family. Anyway, this guy, like I said, is special to me. He is an old friend from high school. He is also the father of my eldest child, the son I had to put up for adoption when I got pregnant in high school. Alot of you know this story, for those who don't and do, comment and I will drop you a note explaining it. I do not hide this and have no reason too. So yeah, for you who care, light a candle, say a prayer, sing a hymn, send a happy thought, or whatever, for him and his troop, please. I need and want him to come home in one piece. Thank you

Art trades are ALWAYS open unless otherwise said. All art trades I've ever done have been great [except my first...I have yet to see my jewelry after 2 yrs of waiting!!!!]; I have never turned down a trade. I trade in jewelry, literature, photomanipulations, and 3d renders.I am open for commissions for my jewelry; prices vary depending on what you want ;or you can tell me what you can afford and what you'd like and I can go from there. I MUST HAVE a valid mailing address for this!!!I am also thinking of doing commissions for my 3d renders; fantasy and scifi are my best types. $10 for a simple render and on up for more details; $25 would be my maximum fee; picture is posted here and you get emailed the full sized jpeg, and I alway render them large enough for small poster sized prints.Also, upon my husband's encouragement, I am opening commissions for my photomanipulated pictures of people. I need the picture to be as good a quality and as large as possible for best results. This means no cell phone pix of you half a block away. Once finished, it's posted here on DA [unless you say otherwise] and you get emailed the large jpeg file so you can print it up if you wish.-Simple one of a portrait would run $5; $7 if you want it more detailed and a background. [portrait is neck up]

~You like to paint much? If so, what do you prefer: water color, gouche, oil,etc... [I know you don't much care for acrylic from FB quiz LOL] And I'll throw in a small variety pack of brushes reguardless what I get you.
~How much do you use color pencils? Do you need/want some?
~You want to try your hand at some jewelry making? I can send you a couple little "kits" of stuff for all you need to make a couple things, along with a how-to. Lord knows I have a ton of jewelry making stuff and can def spare something for you.
~Markers....I will see how much prismas are here.... If they aren't insanely priced, what are the top 10 or so colours you want? You want a rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, and brown, and two extras [or whatever colour]? Otherwise, I will try to grab you something that doesn't involve Crayola brand or cheap kids stuff.
~a couple sketch books of course will be added. Air dry clay is too heavy to send too much. I feel I am forgetting something LOL Oh well, I will think of it later. But yeah, I can send up to 20lbs of stuff in the box I plan to use, and it be okay. How chilly it get there? Want a Seattle sweatshirt? I have a friend who manages a gift shop and I can get stuff free. Want prints of anything specific in my gallery?
